Unity Braxton Middle School strives to build strong and confident student leaders by engaging our community in their learning, discovering interests, and developing essential life skills.
As a school, our culture of respect is rooted in self-reflection, open-mindedness, and empathy.
We believe education should be a pathway for all members of the UBMS community to embrace a growth mindset and become the best version of themselves.

|
We believe:
- Student-centered instruction pushes students to become inquisitive and knowledgeable learners.
- Reflecting on learning and behavior promotes a school community that is a safe, caring and equitable learning environment.
Students will work to support their learning and personal development with empathy, compassion and respect to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
- Students should appreciate their own cultures and personal histories, as well as the values and traditions of others.
- Students will work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies in the face of challenges.
- Students will grow both personally and academically by being resilient and finding a balance in all aspects of their lives.
- All students can communicate clearly by practicing respectful speaking, listening, reading and writing habits.
